  • Apply project management methodologies to plan, coordinate, and deliver Village Management, cargo, and procurement services for Games
  • Lead planning and delivery of Village Management services, including Village operations, spaces, facilities, equipment, supplies, and team operational needs
  • Coordinate cargo and logistics planning, including movement, tracking, delivery, storage, and return of Games equipment, supplies, and materials
  • Establish and maintain working relationships and communication systems with external suppliers, Host Organizing Committees, internal functional areas, and Games Partners
  • Advocate for accessibility, athlete performance, operational efficiency, and positive team experiences
  • Develop practical policies and procedures for internal teams and external partners
  • Foster optimal performance at Games through operational planning and delivery, emphasizing positive experiences and well-being
  • Create and maintain project plans, manage issues, engage Games Partners, and oversee suppliers
  • Support budget management and cost control by tracking procurement requirements, supplier costs, orders, quantities, and operational changes
  • Deliver regular project status updates to the department and cross-functional teams
  • Maintain communication systems for effective collaboration with external third-party suppliers
  • Perform additional duties supporting CPC Games operations

Requirements

  • 3–5 years’ working experience within a professional environment, with a proven track record of increasing responsibilities
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, vendors, inventory, equipment, or operational logistics
  • Experience working in a multi-sport Games environment
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or a combination of training and related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or willingness to obtain is considered an asset
  • Project management, schedule management, and personal organizational skills
  • Strong writing, presentation, and verbal business communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Competency in project management software such as Smartsheet and Asana
  • Competency in database systems
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in English
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends during busy periods, including Games and special events
  • Ability to travel overnight and overseas
  • Previous Canadian and/or Paralympic sports industry experience is an asset
  • Experience as a Paralympian or Para athlete is an asset
  • Bilingualism in English/French or Spanish is a strong asset
