Our team is growing and Kongsberg Geospatial is seeking a UAS Product Manager to lead the development and strategic management of our innovative BVLOS software products in the drone and unmanned systems industry This is a hybrid position working out of our Ottawa, Ontario office. This position may require travel within and outside of Canada approximately 20% of the time. Duties Include Developing business-focused product strategies for the UAS and CUAS software sector, ensuring alignment with market needs and profitability goals. Directing and supporting product development from conception to launch, using your knowledge of the market to develop concrete product visions and short- and long-term roadmaps. Conducting in-depth market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and identifying lucrative market segments. Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure product specifications meet both technical and business objectives. Working closely with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and sales enablement tools. Monitoring and analyzing product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to inform product enhancements and new opportunities. Representing the company at industry events and conferences to gather market intelligence and establish our brand as a leader in the UAS software space. You Have A Canadian security clearance or eligibility to obtain one. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of product management experience, preferably in the software or technology sector with a focus on drone or unmanned systems. Strong business acumen with proven experience in market segmentation, financial modeling, and profitability analysis. Strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to work closely with technical teams. Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive product success in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. It will be great if you have....
