Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Experience with dental software such as Dentrix, will be highly valued. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where patient comfort and care are prioritized. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols Assist the dentist during various procedures. Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort Handle administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/out processes akin to a dental receptionist role Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Support the team with inventory management of dental supplies and materials Requirements Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity Dentrix, and Trios 3systems preferred CPR certified Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable Strong understanding of infection control standards and sterilization procedures Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Prior experience working with dental software platforms such as Dentrix is a plus This position offers an engaging work environment dedicated to delivering quality dental care while supporting professional growth within the field.
