Pay: $42.60-$47.60 per hour

Job Summary

Our Edmonton branch is currently seeking a Journeyman Millwright to join our dynamic services team. We are looking for skilled, experienced, and highly motivated professionals with a strong work ethic who thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This role may involve some travel as part of service operations. This is a current vacancy. At this time, we are only accepting applications from candidates with a Millwright Journeyman Certificate. Apprentice positions are not being considered.

Job duties

  • Alignments, maintenance, repair, service, and inspection of fixed rotating equipment
  • Proficient in the use of machining tools, hand tools, power tools, and precision measurement tools
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipment
  • Assemble machinery and commission start-up support
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and manuals
  • Shutdown service support and asset rebuilds
  • Keep work area and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition
  • Perform duties and operate equipment in a safe and satisfactory manner
  • Safely operate mobile equipment and hoisting devices when necessary
  • Complete all jobs in a timely manner
  • Able to work individually or in larger group atmospheres
  • Mentor apprentices through their professional development

  • Clean Driver's Abstract

  • Willingness and ability to work overtime
  • Willingness to travel and work shift work
  • Leadership experience an asset
  • Experience working on a multi-trade crew
