Implementation Specialist

Our client, a leading SaaS subscription management platform provider, is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support customer onboarding and system configuration initiatives. Reporting to the Manager, Implementation , this role is responsible for the hands-on execution of client implementations, ensuring customers are successfully set up and supported during their onboarding into the subscription billing platform. This role is suited to an individual contributor who enjoys technical problem-solving, structured delivery work, and client collaboration within established implementation frameworks. What We Offer: Salary: $70,000–$80,000, commensurate with experience Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage; life and short- and long-term disability insurance; RRSP matching; and generous vacation entitlements What You'll Do: Support end-to-end implementation activities for assigned customer accounts under the direction of the Manager, Implementation Configure subscription billing workflows, pricing structures, invoicing logic, and payment settings within the platform Assist with data migration activities, including data mapping, validation, testing, and bulk imports Apply a solution-based approach to understand client requirements and implement standard or semi-custom configurations Provide technical support related to subscription billing logic, payments, and system integrations Participate in client onboarding calls, requirements reviews, and configuration walkthroughs Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure smooth handoffs and issue resolution Troubleshoot implementation issues, escalating complex or high-risk items as required Maintain clear documentation of configurations, implementation steps, and client requirements Contribute to process improvements, templates, and internal documentation to support scalable delivery What We're Looking For: Technical Requirements: Experience working with APIs, webhooks, and structured data formats such as JSON or XML Working understanding of SaaS platforms and subscription billing concepts Exposure to data migration, data mapping, and bulk import processes Basic SQL skills for data validation or troubleshooting Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data cleanup Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, QuickBooks) Exposure to payment platforms Basic understanding of financial reporting and revenue recognition concepts Qualifications: 2–4 years of experience in SaaS implementation, onboarding, professional services, or technical support roles Experience supporting client-facing technical work in a structured delivery environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks concurrently Comfortable working under guidance and within established processes while building independent capability Curious, adaptable, and open to learning new tools, systems, and technologies Interest in AI-enabled tools or automation is considered an asset Willingness to take ownership of assigned work and follow issues through to resolution Our team is eager to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
