Electrical Estimator Remote/Hybrid (Travel as Needed) Total Transformer Services (TTS) Full-Time About the Role Total Transformer Services (TTS) is growing and we're looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team. In this role, you'll develop accurate and competitive estimates for transformer-related projects, including field services, repairs, and equipment installations. You will play a key part in supporting business growth by interpreting project requirements, analyzing technical documentation, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external partners. If you're a detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge and a passion for the electrical power industry, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do Review technical drawings, specs, RFQs, and project documentation to determine project scope. Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and related expenses. Collaborate with Project Management, Sales, and Field Service teams to clarify scope and technical details. Develop bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation aligned with company standards. Assess project risks, schedule impacts, and constructability considerations. Maintain organized pricing databases, historical project costs, and vendor rates. Support continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and templates. Participate in pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and technical reviews. Ensure all estimates comply with industry standards, safety requirements, and TTS procedures. What You Bring Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Estimating, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of electrical estimating experience, ideally within high-voltage, utility, power systems, or industrial environments. Strong understanding of electrical prints, schematics, and transformer/equipment specifications. Experience estimating labor and equipment for field services (installation, testing, repair, maintenance). Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and database-driven tools. Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities. Additional Requirements Ability to travel to job sites or client meetings as required Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Successful completion of a background check Why Join TTS?
