Electrical Field Supervisor of Special Projects

**The Role**
The Field Supervisor is responsible for establishing best practices and standard operating procedures for our service and small projects primarily within the commercial sector. Focusing on operational efficiency and growth, they are to be a leader of their team, teaching, coaching, and mentoring their crew according to Leading Edge Electric’s values, policies, and procedures.
In addition to training and developing our service team, the Field Supervisor will plan, coordinate and document electrical installations from mobilization to completion. They will ensure all on-site activities are safely executed within the schedule, budget, and scope while never compromising quality of installation or customer experience.
This role will host a balance of both field, administrative and operational responsibilities including procuring new opportunities, conducting site visits, compiling scopes, estimating, coordinating materials, forecasting manpower, completing and overseeing installations, right through to customer service follow-ups and work order billing approval.
**Skill Set & Experience Needed**
- Certified Inter-Provincial Red Seal Journeyman Electrician
- Field Safety Representative (FSR) B; A preferred
- 10 Years’ experience in electrical construction and installations
- 3 Years’ experience in electrical service and maintenance
- 1 Year of estimating electrical service and maintenance
- Supervisory, leadership and management of teams
- Customer Service
**Key Duties**
- Develop and implement service division best practices and standard operating procedures
- Participate in training, and coaching of team members
- Identify and create opportunities to generate new customer revenue
- Complete sales calls, compile scopes of work and assist with estimations
- Work with staff to manage change orders as per company process
- Organizes schedule, materials, equipment and labour to maximize efficiency
- Participates in site-related meetings
- Installs, tests, and commissions electrical equipment and systems with a high quality of standard
- Assigns tasks, provides instruction, monitors progress, and inspects quality of work of team members
- Ensures tasks are completed on budget, on schedule, accurate to scope, and code compliant
- Submit detailed work orders, reviewing and approving work orders of others
- Maintains accurate as-built drawings, layouts and other project documentation
- Maintains excellent relationships with clients, engineers, contractors, and other trade leads
- Participates in company training and pursues opportunities for continuous development

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
