The Opportunity We are seeking an Associate Lawyer (Corporate Law focus) with 2–5 years of post-call experience to join our growing team. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a lawyer who enjoys a variety of corporate and commercial matters and who can also manage real estate files when needed. You will handle a broad range of corporate transactions and advisory work, while contributing to the firm's busy real estate practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer to grow their practice in a supportive, suburban firm setting with exposure to sophisticated files. Key Responsibilities Manage and advise on corporate and commercial transactions, including incorporations, reorganizations, share/asset purchases, and shareholder agreements. Draft and negotiate contracts, commercial agreements, and related documents. Handle residential and commercial real estate matters, including purchase, sale, and financing transactions. Provide strategic advice to clients on business law matters. Build and maintain strong client relationships and contribute to business development. Qualifications 2–5 years of post-call experience, with emphasis in corporate/commercial law ; Ability to independently manage files from start to finish; Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills; Excellent organizational and time management abilities; Commitment to client service and relationship building; Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in developing a practice. Assets Experience in commercial leasing , wills and estates , or litigation support ; Ability to balance multiple practice areas in a fast-paced environment; Positive, team-oriented approach.
