About the Role

We're looking for an experienced lawyer with approximately 2–5 years of practice, primarily focused on barrister work, to join our Ottawa Office.

You'll bring strong litigation experience and may also have exposure to corporate law or other legal areas that intersect with condominium corporations. Experience in Condominium Law is an asset—but not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with condominium boards, clients, and property managers
  • Prepare pleadings, notices, and appear in court proceedings
  • Collaborate with and learn from senior lawyers on complex matters
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements
  • Provide legal opinions on corporate condominium matters
  • Participate in industry events, including conferences and speaking opportunities

Required Education & Experience

  • LL.B./J.D. degree
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • 2–5 years of litigation experience in Ontario
  • Experience in Small Claims Court, tribunals, and Superior Court
  • Proven experience drafting pleadings, opinions, and legal documents
  • Knowledge of Administrative Law and a basic understanding of Real Estate Law
  • Strong research capabilities and evidence-based analysis

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary: CA$80,000–CA$100,000 (commesurate with experience)
