What You'll Be Doing
- Advising clients on incorporations, corporate reorganizations, and business structuring.
- Leading and supporting transactions involving private placements, financings, and mergers and acquisitions.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements
- Working closely with clients across various industries to support their legal and business needs.
- Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas, including real estate, tax, and employment law.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in corporate/commercial law, ideally in private practice.
- Strong ties to the Barrie community.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage files independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- An entrepreneurial spirit: strong interpersonal, communication, and networking abilities.
- A client-first mindset with a commitment to delivering practical, effective legal solutions.
