Our client is one of Canada's leading transportation companies, known for its adaptability and innovation in providing unique solutions tailored to customers changing needs. The Vice President, Sales + Customer Service opportunity is a key leadership role responsible for driving revenue and market share growth, as well as strategic oversight of all aspects sales and customer service operations. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing talent acquisition, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals and policies. Establishes sales budgets, business plans, and marketing plans in conjunction with the group President
-Develops sales plans and strategies by service type and region in alignment with company strategic goals
-Understands and analyze market trends to identify future opportunities
-Maximizes customer-facing time to assist sales professionals with sales process and skills improvement
-Acts as an executive sponsor for RFQ and solution design/pricing processes
-Leads and reports on national competitive activity and market conditions
-Monitors sales activities through Regional Sales Managers (sales cycle/pipeline management)
-Manages talent for both the Business Development and Customer Service Team

Minimum 12-15 years of of business development leadership experience, preferably in a consultative sales environment
-Comm or equivalent experience (MBA preferred)
-Demonstrated strong leadership skills in recruiting, training, and motivating a sales team
