Business Systems Analyst, Payments Our client, a Big Five Bank is seeking an experienced BSA with strong payments and QA experience to join on a 12-month contract. This role will support upcoming payment-related initiatives. Location: Hybrid (2 days/week onsite) Contract Length: 12 months (potential for conversion) Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Act as a specialist bridging BA and QA functions within BMO's SDP payments platform. Oversee high-level testing activities, managing 1,000+ test cases (manual and automated) and coordinating deployment efforts. Elicit and document business requirements, analyze payment flows and identify variations. Collaborate with operations, business, and support teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency across workflows. Project Scope: Portfolio enhancements Annual compliance releases API release requiring cross-team collaboration Methodology: Waterfall, with full commitment to project phases Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years combined experience as a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) and QA professional Strong knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards, including wire structures and XML formats Solid technical background to bridge business requirements with system capabilities Excellent communication skills; confident, inquisitive, and collaborative Preferred Skills: Understanding of market infrastructures, particularly liquidity management and payment flows
