Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Contract Specialist for a 6 month contract in Toronto. This is hybrid role - On-Site 3 days per week; Remote 2 days per week, Flexibility on days. There is a high possibility of contract extension and convert to full time opportunity.
Pay rate: $24.07 - $30.95 / Hour
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities
As a Contract Specialist, your duties will be:
  • Preparing contractual agreements using current company templates
  • Analyzing contracts to ensure they comply with company policies
  • Liaising with internal business partners and external suppliers
  • Negotiating with suppliers to secure best terms and pricing for the company
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of previous experience with contracting best practices, business decision-making, in a Contract Specialist context with increasing scope of responsibility
  • Post-Secondary degree/certification in logistics, business administration, law, purchasing and supply chain management or equivalent working experience
  • Strong market awareness
  • Contract Reviewing/Creation Experience
  • Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Experience
  • Comfortable in a high volume environment
Nice to Have:
  • Applicable Contract Management, Procurement, Legal experience and/or certification
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management tools (e.g. iValua, Coupa, Ariba, etc.)
  • Finance and budgeting experience
  • Experience in a financial institution
  • Familiarity and experience with Professional Services
  • Familiarity and experience with IT services
