This role involves more complex work related to the design, implementation, and management of Windows enterprise desktop environments. This role is responsible for creating standardized desktop images; developing and implementing patch management and application deployment strategies; and ensuring that desktop environments are stable, secure, and up to date. The role is also responsible for Active Directory Group Policy design, and network and security configuration for the desktop environment.Typical activities in this role include but are not limited to:Management and Administration of SCCM/MECM Environment, including co-management with IntuneAdvanced experience in creating and maintaining standardized Windows images (Desired Configuration Management).Windows Application Packaging & Task Sequences, Windows Installer, MSI, and MSIX.Expertise in Microsoft SQL scripting, queries, and reporting.Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and PowerShell scripting.Managing Microsoft Updates with SCCM (Patch Tuesday).Advanced experience in Active Directory Group Policy design, configuration, and management.Desktop and Laptop Computer Hardware Configuration, Troubleshooting, and Repair.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.Ideally the resource will have:Proven competency in Computer Support (Tier 2)Strong knowledge of network troubleshootingExperience with Lenovo Desktops & NotebooksExperience with Panasonic Ruggedized Toughbooks.The Windows End-Point Deployment Analyst must be able to perform in a team environment with strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
