Specialist - Business Development, Individual Insurance Specialist - Business Development, Individual Insurance role at Cloutier Groupe Financier. Responsibilities Implement procedures to better manage orphan, unassigned, or unrepresented clients. Identify inactive or unlicensed advisors and act according to each provider’s rules. Search for policy information on company websites or request it and prepare lists of policies to be assigned. Enter data into the internal management system. Assign identified advisors to orphan clients and follow up with advisors on assignment results. Inventory advisors whose license has expired or whose contract has been cancelled or is inactive with one or more insurers and request the list of policies in force from insurance companies. Analyze blocks of policies in force and identify business development opportunities. Monitor results and provide a report to management. Keep up to date on the rules of each insurer concerning orphan policies and inactive representatives and on industry rules to manage in accordance with expectations of authorities and insurers. Maintain the files of orphan clients until an advisor is assigned to them. Collaborate with the compensation and contracts department to keep the inventory of orphan clients up to date. Provide solutions and recommendations on procedures and work methods to facilitate and optimize work. Qualifications University degree in administration or equivalent training. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position or in the field of personal insurance/investment. Good knowledge of administrative procedures associated with life insurance and investment. Good knowledge of life insurance and investment products.
