The Proposal Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all phases of the proposal process in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), etc. and other business development efforts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent project management, communication, and writing skills.Key Responsibilities:Lead the proposal development process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with RFP/RFQ requirements and internal guidelinesCollaborate with technical staff, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive proposal contentDevelop and manage proposal schedules, assignments, and deadlinesWrite, edit, and format proposal content to create clear, persuasive, and compliant documentsCoordinate with engineering staff and sub-consultants to complete technical portions of the proposalConduct quality reviews of proposals to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client requirementsMaintain a proposal content library and manage proposal-related documentationProvide training and guidance to team members on proposal development best practices and processesTrack and report on proposal development metrics, win rates, and other key performance indicatorsStay up-to-date with industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to enhance proposal strategiesBusiness Development responsibilities include:Create company promotion for social media postings, articles, project profiles, etc.Co-ordinates and assists with the preparation, strategy, and submission/distribution of other promotional materials and correspondenceMaintain and coordinate business development filing systemsResearch/compile data to prepare promotional submissions, presentations and proposalsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management, preferably in the engineering or construction industryProven track record of successfully managing and winning proposals for large, complex projectsStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneouslyExcellent writing, editing, and proofreading skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesKnowledge of municipal engineering and construction industry standards and practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
