Job DetailsThis position is designed for new engineering grads. You will be based on project sites in a variety of market-segments including, but not limited to, water treatment, heavy industrial, industrial process, food and beverage, and civil. On the day to day, you will be responsible for a defined portion of a project and accountable for establishing effective working relationships with clients and managing the flow of information and documents between Alberici and the client. You will maintain accurate documents for the project including schedule, as-builts, submittals, logs, test results, etc. and work closely with the Superintendent and subcontractors to plan and coordinate upcoming work and obtain, track and expedite the delivery of equipment and materials to the site.

ResponsibilitiesMaintain and manage the Request for Information (RFI) process, daily reports, drawings and submittal logsObtain and verify all shop drawings as assignedMaintain documents that record the project as it was constructed (e.g., as-builts)Submit the as-builts to the client/client’s agent upon completion of the projectMaintain proper safety recordsCoordinate support functions, including project start-up, with internal and external team membersManage the change order and billings process and direct meetingsDevelop and maintain an effective working relationship with subcontractorsEvaluate the performance of the subcontractors at the conclusion of the projectCreate and engage in relationships with key union contactsUnderstand and assist in the application of buy-out proceduresRequirementsBS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field and 0-3 years experienceExcellent communication skillsAbility to establish a good working relationship with many different people, including owners, clients, supervisors, and staffHighly motivated with strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environmentExcellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlinesProficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.)Alberici is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all qualified candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
