Bilingual Project Coordinator

At Vicwest, we are “Building for Tomorrow” and are currently looking for a **Bilingual Project Coordinator **reporting into our Burlington, Ontario office.

**Position Summary**:
The bilingual Project Coordinator is a key role within Vicwest Technical Services Group. The project Coordinator acts as a single point of contact who provides efficient, consistent, and technically proficient support to clients for the duration of their project. The Bilingual Project Coordinator is responsible for managing projects from start to finish according to budget, schedule, and specifications. As the single point of contact, the bilingual project coordinator represents Vicwest in all client communication. Effective communication skills are paramount to ensure client and company targets are met.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Upon receipt of customer contract, prepares a Scope of Work and leads a Hand Off meeting with all internal stakeholders.
- Prepares schedules for projects and monitors the progress.
- Coordinates drafting, engineering, production, distribution, and warehousing in accordance with policies, principles and procedures established by Vicwest.
- Reviews and verifies information with the sales force such as, schedules, material costs, labour, and Change Notices.
- Monitors quality control on each project.
- Maintains updated and accurate project status within SAP to facilitate forecasting and invoicing activities.
- Liaise with the various departments to maintain the critical path schedule.
- Ensure final set of shop drawings and bills of materials meet project specification.
- Enter and price final bills of material into SAP.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Education in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience with Building Envelope and/or in the building materials industry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication
- Proficient with various software programs, including MS Excel, working knowledge of SAP
- Bilingual French and English is a must

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
