Your role As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead major civil infrastructure projects from preliminary planning to occupancy, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Develop strong client relationships and lead projects from beginning to end to achieve our client’s goals and objectives; Lead program and project planning, scheduling and budgeting, consultant tendering and selection, and contract administration efforts; Regularly report to the client on project status through schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records, and other reports; Manage and coach project staff allocated to your projects, peer‑reviewing their deliverables and continuously developing their knowledge and capabilities; Chair client, project and site meetings, find resolution to issues, and coordinate between multiple stakeholders; Provide oversight and leadership to the change management process, payment certificates and other contract or project‑related administrative documents; Ensure client expectations and satisfaction are met or exceeded on all projects, representing the client’s best interests in contractual and technical matters; Select and organize project teams and establish levels of authority and lines of communication. Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, delivering civil infrastructure projects (e.g., water, roads, bridges, ports, transit); Recent experience delivering projects in the civil infrastructure sector, advising and working collaboratively with senior stakeholders (permitting jurisdictions, project funders); University degree or diploma in civil engineering or related discipline (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience); Deep understanding of the civil infrastructure landscape in Canada; Strong knowledge in program and project planning, scheduling and budgeting, project delivery methodologies, and contract administration; Experience with preparation of Requests for Proposals, tenders, and tender closing/award procedures, and response to Requests for Proposals; Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills; Strong computer skills, including working knowledge of scheduling (MS Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel); P.Eng. and PMP designations considered an asset.
