Join to apply for the Conseiller en prévention SST / EHS Advisor role at XNRGY Climate Systems. Reporting to the EHS Manager, the person will be responsible for supporting operations to reduce accident risks, improve prevention, and maintain a proactive health and safety culture on the production floor. Required Technical Skills Strong understanding of health and safety laws and regulations (CNESST, LSST, RSST, WHMIS). Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with ergonomic risks (MSDs), working at heights, lifting equipment, welding, machine hazards, and lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to perform risk analyses, accident investigations, and root cause analyses. Field audits and inspections. Knowledge of a health and safety management system (ISO 45001 is an asset). Experience delivering health and safety training. Experience 3 to 7 years of experience in health and safety prevention in a manufacturing environment. Experience in industrial or mechanical fields (HVAC, metallurgy, assembly, industrial mechanics or equivalent) is an asset. Participation in the implementation of health and safety programs (ergonomics, PPE, lockout/tagout). Experience managing health and safety indicators (TPI). Education College diploma (DEC) or bachelor’s degree (BAC) in health and safety, environment, industrial engineering, industrial hygiene, or labour relations. Training in lockout/tagout, forklift operation, confined spaces, and transportation of dangerous goods (asset). CPR/First Aid certification (asset). Desired Personal Profile Action‑oriented field leader, not just administrative. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to positively influence production and maintenance teams. Sense of urgency and strong operational judgement. Autonomous, rigorous, and well‑organized. Comfortable working in multidisciplinary teams (production, quality, maintenance, HR). Main Responsibilities Conduct daily prevention rounds on the production floor. Investigate and document incidents/accidents, propose corrective measures. Collaborate with supervisors to eliminate risks at the source. Lead safety meetings and toolbox talks. Manage analysis and follow‑up of near‑misses. Update health and safety procedures and legal programs. Coordinate health and safety training and the safety committee. Support temporary assignments, return‑to‑work processes, and CNESST case management. Promote a sustainable prevention culture.
