Technical Sales Representative, Food & Beverage Water Treatment Join us as a Technical Sales Representative in the Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company team. Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives. Provide technical support to customers; identify and resolve customer challenges, escalating as required. Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations perform at optimal levels. Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology to promote long‑term business relationships. Territory / Location Information Position covers Kitchener/Waterloo and surrounding areas. Targeted accounts within the food & beverage manufacturing industries. Some overnight travel required based on business needs. Training & Development Ecolab offers field and corporate headquarters training programs covering technology, product, service, business and industry acumen, direct coaching and mentoring, sales management, leadership, classroom training and certifications. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Technical sales or field sales support experience. Valid Driver’s License and acceptable motor vehicle record. Able to travel to the US for training/meetings. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.). Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience. Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers and wastewater treatment systems.
