Overview Join to apply for the Sr. Java Developer role at J&M Group Responsibilities Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Kafka, Web Services, SOAP Services and other backend technologies. Design and develop microservices - APIs, Spring Batch jobs and Kafka messaging and topics; deploy, configure, and manage application servers in enterprise environments. Utilize Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and database schema design with SQL/NoSQL databases, including performance tuning and transaction management. Implement authentication/authorization mechanisms with Spring Security, JWT, OAuth2 to protect APIs and data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions following agile practices. Manage end-to-end deployment processes across IST, UAT, and Production environments. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and performance. Design, develop, and secure RESTful APIs using Spring MVC, including exception handling, validation, and API testing tools like Postman. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, integration testing) to ensure quality and smooth deployment.
