Expansion Account Executive - Emerging Business Join to apply for the Expansion Account Executive - Emerging Business role at MaintainX. We recently completed a $150 million Series D round, bringing our total funding to $254 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion. We’re currently seeking an Expansion Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. As an Expansion AE – Emerging, you’ll play a crucial role in driving sales growth by effectively engaging and managing relationships with customers in the Emerging segment (300 employees or less). Your expertise in managing a large volume of high‑velocity deals will be instrumental in expanding client accounts. What You’ll Do Ownership – You will own a “book of business” from post‑sale handoff onwards. Use your sales experience to engage and build relationships with a large segment of our emerging customers, knowing your clients like family and taking care of them as such. Expansion – Happy clients tend to expand. Leverage your experience in navigating high volumes of deals to identify and capitalize on expansion opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long‑term business partnerships. Prospecting – Take a proactive approach in identifying customer needs and providing innovative solutions, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional service and exceed customer expectations. Presentation – Articulate key metrics and data to demonstrate the value and impact of our solutions, effectively conveying the return on investment for our clients. Organization – Manage a book of business and execute multiple tasks simultaneously such as client requests, demos, proposals, follow‑ups, etc. Stay organized and keep everything on track. Systems – Master the sales tech stack (Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and others). Forecast accurately, managing the sales pipeline and monthly/quarterly expansion opportunities with +/- 15% accuracy. Document – Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of customer interactions, deals, and progress. Startup Mentality – Embrace an entrepreneurial, grind‑it‑out mentality of building something new. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quota‑carrying SaaS sales closing role (New Business AE or Expansion AE/AM). Demonstrated success managing a large volume of prospects while driving product adoption. Strong analytical and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate data‑driven insights to both internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to conduct engaging product demonstrations. Adaptability and comfort in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing sales environment. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all documentation and deal management. Excellent interpersonal skills, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal teams. A positive, passionate, and creative mindset, combined with high‑character qualities that align with our company values. An open and hungry mind, always willing to improve through coaching and learn about our customers’ industries. Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in a relevant field. Bonus If You Have Experience with modern sales tech stacks: Salesforce, Salesloft, DiscoverOrg, etc. Experience with startups and entrepreneurial organizations.
