Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (433A)
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Position Overview:

Our client, a leading food manufacturing company located in the Toronto area, specializing in high-speed packaging equipment is looking to grow their maintenance department.

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Millwright) with a valid 433A license to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food manufacturing and possess 3-10 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks on high-speed packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
Conduct preventative maintenance to prolong the lifespan of equipment and prevent potential breakdowns.
Collaborate with production team members to address maintenance concerns and prioritize tasks based on production schedules.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

Qualifications:

Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic Millwright license.
3-10 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including day shift, and occasional weekends as needed.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
