Overview Be part of a fast-paced environment focused on helping people through financial solutions. This role emphasizes negotiation, customer service, and problem solving to support customers in getting back on track. The base salary is CAD 35,000–37,128 (dependent on province) plus commissions. What you’ll do Effectively negotiate repayment solutions for customers experiencing financial setbacks while focusing on retention Be a part of a high performing team and strive to exceed individual daily and monthly targets Use decision-making skills on accepting, rejecting, or offering amended payment terms and settlements Promptly respond to inquiries and diffuse difficult situations, turning potentially negative experiences into positive ones Juggle multiple files simultaneously with detailed and accurate records Fully accountable for collections related member questions or concerns with knowledge of policies and procedures Monitor and resolve payment related discrepancies Act as a brand ambassador for Mogo, using our suite of products and providing feedback for improvements What you’ll need To be mission driven and self-motivated Ability to maintain focus and prioritize core responsibilities At least 1+ years of experience in collections/AR (first or third party) Experience in a high-volume, KPI/target-based contact centre is a plus Comfortable using MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Windows OS; familiarity with ChatGPT is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills Commitment to going above and beyond to find solutions for customers Passionate about personal finance and helping people make positive financial decisions Reliable internet and ability to work from home (computer, monitor, phone provided) What’s in it for you A generous commission structure Regular set 8 hours Monday to Friday Opportunities in a fast-growing, innovative company Benefits of working with us Always fully remote work Comprehensive Health and Wellness coverage Stock options Flex Vacation — paid time off including vacation days, holidays, and personal days Wellbeing programs and access to counselling and mental health resources About Us We help make it easy for Canadians to achieve financial freedom while making a positive impact.
