Job Details Principal level – Toronto, Canada Location: Greater Toronto Area (commutable). This role is NOT eligible for 100% remote work. Employees must be willing to work onsite at the client or Slalom Toronto office up to 5 days per week. What You’ll Do Evaluate, understand, and solution complex organizational needs. Craft and deliver quality organizational strategy and business transformation solutions, including operating model design, process optimization, talent optimization, change enablement, leadership development, learning & development, team effectiveness, and cultural transformation. Drive AI‑Enabled Organization Design, utilizing AI‑powered tools and data analytics to assess structures, model future‑state scenarios, and generate actionable insights. Lead complex discussions, analyze strategy and architecture, and design impactful business interactions. Shape vision, structure, and design initiatives before execution. Play a significant role in business development and sales solutioning, collaborating across internal teams, aligning on solutions, and assisting in presenting sales materials. Work across multiple disciplines and industries, building client knowledge and relationships quickly. Integrate organizational strategy, talent, and change activities into overall project plans and roadmaps. Build client trust by clearly explaining Slalom’s processes, proactively addressing needs, and resolving issues promptly, escalating when necessary. Translate complex information into clear narratives, managing ambiguity and collaborating with other capabilities to deliver comprehensive solutions. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience, including 5+ years of progressive leadership in complex organizational transformations—design and execution of strategy, operating model, and organizational design, process optimization, talent optimization, change enablement, and learning & development strategy. Advanced expertise in organization diagnostics, operating model design, structure design (spans, layers, job architecture). Demonstrated experience using AI‑driven analytics tools (e.g., OrgVue). Industry experience in financial services/insurance and/or public sector preferred. Leading Delivery & Client Management 5+ years leading cross‑functional engagements and delivering complex solutions across business and technology. 5+ years consulting to clients and leading delivery of other consultants. Excellent workshop design and facilitation skills—lead strategic planning sessions and align leaders. Ability to influence, partner with executives, and manage multiple stakeholders. Strong data analytics and research skills—research and analyze organizational, process, and functional data to tell compelling stories and provide insights.
