Senior Consultant - CPM - Consolidation Focus - (Tagetik and Others) - Growing Org Base Pay Range CA$125,000.00/yr - CA$140,000.00/yr Principal Consultant at Initi8 Recruitment ⚡Scaling Engineering Teams Globally ⚡ We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consolidation Expert to join our Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading and executing complex financial consolidation implementations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in our group-level financial reporting. The Job: Lead Implementations: Serve as the subject matter expert and lead consultant for full-cycle financial consolidation system implementations and enhancements within the EPM domain. Process Optimization: Analyze, design, and optimize group consolidation, financial reporting, and close processes, translating business requirements into technical system solutions. System Configuration: Hands‑on configuration and development of EPM solutions, including designing and managing data models, business rules, security, reporting, and workflow processes. Data Management: Oversee and execute data integration strategies, leveraging ETL or other integration tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity across various source systems and the consolidation platform. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with finance leaders, IT teams, and business unit controllers to gather requirements, manage expectations, and drive project success. Support & Training: Provide post‑implementation support, troubleshooting, and training to end‑users and finance teams. About You Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of hands‑on, progressive experience leading and delivering full-cycle financial consolidation implementations within a consulting environment. Technical Expertise: Proven, in-depth experience with a major EPM consolidation platform, such as: CCH Tagetik OneStream Software SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) Or other similar leading consolidation solutions. Financial Acumen: Strong, demonstrable understanding of group consolidation principles, complex financial structures, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, and financial close processes. Data Proficiency: Direct, hands‑on experience with designing and managing EPM data models, workflows, and utilizing ETL or other data integration tools. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Nice to have: CPA or MBA certification. Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP reporting standards.
