Job Details Position: Assistant Store Manager Location: Body Energy Club Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent Pay: $19.00–$25.00 per hour Schedule: Flexible availability required (7 days/week, 7:00 am–10:30 pm) Position Summary The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of both the Smoothie/Juice Bar and Retail Supplement Store. This role requires strong leadership, customer service excellence, and product knowledge across smoothies, supplements, and health‑focused retail. The Assistant Store Manager acts as a role model, coach, and key decision‑maker to ensure smooth operations, sales growth, and adherence to Body Energy Club standards. Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in food service, retail, or health/wellness environment Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred Experience at Body Energy Club is considered an asset FoodSafe certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong knowledge of or interest in health, supplements, and nutrition Key Expectations Demonstrate proficiency in all Body Energy Club policies and procedures for both smoothie bar and retail operations Uphold and enforce company standards for customer service, cleanliness, food safety, and professional conduct Act as a leader, coach, and role model for Smoothie Masters and Retail Associates Ensure customer needs are met in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner Support store‑wide goals including sales growth, promotions, and monthly targets Assist with staff training, performance feedback, and daily supervision Duties & Responsibilities Smoothie Bar Operations Oversee preparation and delivery of smoothies in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment Ensure strict adherence to FoodSafe and sanitation standards Audit daily checklists and ensure completion and accuracy Monitor smoothie bar inventory, place orders, and track product usage Address customer concerns related to smoothies and escalates when necessary Retail & Supplement Operations Assist customers with supplement selection, product education, and lifestyle guidance Maintain strong knowledge of Body Energy Club supplements, retail products, and promotions Ensure retail shelves are stocked, organized, merchandised, and rotated properly Monitor retail inventory levels, place orders, and minimize shrink Support sales initiatives, upselling, and cross‑promotion between smoothies and supplements Leadership & Store Support Supervise staff on shift and provide coaching, feedback, and correction when required Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members Assist in scheduling, coverage, and on‑call staffing needs Step in as Manager on Duty (MOD) when required Communicate staff concerns, operational issues, and improvement ideas to Store Manager Maintain positive team morale and lead by example Minimum Job Requirements Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to work 32–40 hours per week Reliable and punctual with strong attendance Ability to work on short notice (on‑call situations) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new products and procedures Sales‑oriented mindset with a focus on customer education Ability to work under moderate supervision and make independent decisions Capable of repetitive, fast‑paced work Passion for health, wellness, and Body Energy Club products (preferred) Working Conditions & Physical Effort Exposure to noise, food products, supplements, and retail equipment Regular use of blenders, knives, and point‑of‑sale systems Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift and move 20–30 lbs Frequent reaching, bending, and kneeling Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly with staff and customers Additional Job Information Location: Vancouver, BC Work location: On site Salary: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour Terms of employment: Full time Starts as soon as possible Vacancies: 1 vacancy Source: indeed.com – id #9986315595 #J-18808-Ljbffr
