Support children's development as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant with the Developmental Disabilities Association in Vancouver. This on-call position offers training in a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere.
In this role, you will be instrumental in creating enriching experiences within family-centered programs at child development centers. You will engage with children of varying abilities, working alongside management to ensure their needs are met effectively. The position also encourages professional development through community involvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement engaging play-based programs for children
• Assist in facilitating interactions among children
• Collaborate with managerial staff on program needs
• Maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in ongoing educational opportunities
Requirements:
• BC ECEA Certification or be actively enrolled in an ECE Program
• Minimum of 2 days available per week
• Criminal Record and Medical Clearances required
• First Aid/CPR certification essential
• Proficiency in English and basic computer literacy Contribute positively to children's lives and families within an inclusive learning framework in Vancouver.
