The successful candidatemust be self-motivated, highly organized and capable of producing timely results, withminimal direction from senior personnel. Excellent communication skills and projectbudgeting skills are required. This is permanent full-time position.Qualifications:Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:• B.Sc. Degree in Environment & Business, Geography, Civil, Environmental orWater Resources Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution;• At least two (2) years of post-graduation experience, which should includeprojects with the Canadian consulting industry and/or public sector agencies;• Suitable experience with water resources, municipal infrastructure, subdivisionand site plan projects using standard modelling tools and Civil 3D software;• Assisted in the preparation of Storm Water Management (SWM) Reports insupport of Secondary Plan, Draft Plan and Site Plan applications;• Suitable knowledge of Ontario’s review agency requirements (Federal, Provincial,Municipal, and Conservation Authority), including the Environmental Assessmentprocess; and,• Familiar with the land development and planning process in Ontario.Responsibilities:Responsibilities will include but not limited to:• Provide technical computer modelling expertise and capacity for analyzing landscape-level cumulative effects issues, including projects affected by climate change impacts;• Apply state-of-the-art GIS-based decision support systems (including, in-house GIS-baseddecision support tools) for cumulative effects watershed projects;• Assist with the preparation of Watershed Planning, Subwatershed Planning, Storm WaterManagement (SWM) Reports, Municipal Servicing and Functional Design Briefs and insupport of our engineering design teams;• Assist with site reconnaissance tasks, including scoped field surveys and data monitoringcollection involving water and wastewater infrastructure systems, Low Impact Development(LID) performance and river basin / inland lake monitoring (water quality) investigations;Project AnalystLocation: Collingwood, OntarioDescription: One (1) Permanent / Full-time PositionClosing Date: July 7, 2025Page 3 of 4• Assist with the preparation of expressions of interest, proposals and final reports in supportof project submissions;• Assist with the completion of water resources design projects through to approval;• Assist with completion of cost estimates, specifications, and contract administration forwater resources, municipal infrastructure and land development projects;• Assist with the coordination of sub-consultants for high-profile projects; and,• Assist with project presentations, including Pubic Information Centres, Open Houses,Municipal Committees and Municipal Councils.Skills:To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess the following skillset:• Organized individual capable of producing results and meeting timelines;• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills;• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required;• Strong budgeting skills with high regard for cost control;• Refined analytical and problem - solving skills;• Ability to manage and technically support projects;• Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues and clients;• Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast paced, high change environment; and,• Good initiative and attention to detail.We offer an exceptional professional working environment and culture, as well as a competitiveremuneration package.NOTE: Candidates should apply as soon as possible since the position will be filled if asuitable candidate is identified before July 7, 2025 application deadline.Please email your resume to greenland.resumes@grnland.com.We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those candidates under considerationwill be contacted.
