Position: Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs – Atlantic Location: Atlantic Region (Canada) Compensation: Starting Salary Opportunity: $118,400 – base pay depends on experience. Bonus: Target of $41,440 plus possible discretionary long‑term incentive awards. Variable Compensation contingent on performance and business outcomes. Role Summary: As Senior Manager Corporate Affairs Atlantic, you will provide strategic support across the Atlantic region in government relations, public affairs, and communications. Your work will advance the organization’s interests in Atlantic Canada and protect our corporate reputation. Key Responsibilities Lead government‑relations efforts across the four Atlantic provinces, focusing on regulatory matters and ensuring alignment with business goals. Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and regulatory bodies. Monitor and analyze regulatory developments to provide strategic advice to senior leadership. Contribute to strategic planning for communications, issue management, and tailored national strategies to meet regional needs. Support execution of regional commercial communications programs and campaigns that strengthen brand profile and support business objectives. Coordinate external communications programs, media plans, and responses for effective issue management. Develop corporate positioning that strengthens the company’s reputation and builds public support. Qualifications Minimum bachelor’s degree in political science, communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred. At least 10 years of experience in corporate affairs, communications, or government relations with a proven track record of managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships. Senior‑level government experience at federal or provincial level. Strong media relations and crisis management skills. Excellent strategic thinking, writing, and communication abilities with the capacity to craft compelling messages and manage multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, media, and community partners. Innovative, adaptable, and comfortable with changing circumstances. Why Labatt?
