The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented problem solver with strong leadership skills and a proven ability to inspire and manage teams. While an engineering background is an asset, it is not required; what matters most is a track record of successfully leading production in a GMP‑regulated environment. The Director of Production will play a critical role in shaping operational excellence, optimizing processes, and ensuring we deliver high‑quality cannabis products to our partners at scale. Partner with Quality Assurance to develop, implement, and enforce SOPs that meet EU GMP and internal quality standards. Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including throughput, capacity utilization, yield, and waste, while driving continuous improvement. Identify, recommend, and support capital investment projects that improve capacity, efficiency, or quality. Build and maintain a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and accountability, where employees are motivated to contribute and take pride in their work. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth operations and on‑time delivery to clients Education & Experience: 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, operations, or production, with at least 3 years in a senior management role. Experience in a GMP‑regulated environment (pharmaceutical, food, cannabis, or related industry) is required. Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and packaging operations. Proven track record of developing, coaching, and leading high‑performing teams. Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, regulated industry. Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross‑functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Engineering, science, or business degree is an asset but not required; equivalent professional experience will be considered. Comfortable working with metrics and KPIs, with demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement initiatives. Passion for cannabis, operational excellence, and building world‑class products. Work-Life Balance: Balance is vital, but so is getting the job done. There are times when evening or weekend work will be required but as an entrepreneurial leader, you thrive on getting things done and building a business. #J-18808-Ljbffr
