Learn more about why we were selected here.Title: Procurement SpecialistSalary: $66,597 - $83,246 - $91,571 per year (pay range explained below)Contract: 6-month term, with the possibility of extensionHours: 8:30am-4:30pm (core hours 9:00am-3:00pm)Location: Metro Vancouver, Alberni Office — on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coast Salish Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway in Spring 2027.About The RoleThe Procurement Specialist partners with internal and external clients to determine the procurement method. This position coordinates the vendor selection process; maintains a pre-qualified list of vendors by goods and services category; interfaces and negotiates with suppliers for price and delivery; prepares legal binding documents and oversees full life cycle for the agreement; solicits and analyzes quotations; performs periodic audits of transactions to ensure compliance; prepares management and compliance reports. The role uses independent judgment in resolution of routine and non-routine responsibilities to ensure high quality client services support.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have-EducationThe requirements for this position would typically be acquired through a degree, plus 4 to 6 years of progressively responsible experience in procurement, materials management and contract administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
