This is a key business area for us.ResponsibilitiesWhat your day will look likeAs a key team member, you will have the opportunity to:Manage/Lead projects for public and private sector clients related to Environmental Assessment (EA), environmental permitting and approvals, and environmental compliance monitoring, with a focus on Linear infrastructure EAs (Municipal Class EA, MTO, Hydro One, Metrolinx)Develop and lead innovative public and agency consultation programsBuild client relationships through identification of market opportunities, client communications, preparation of proposals, and business development activitiesLearning & DevelopmentCommit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional developmentInput to the career development of junior staff, including technical direction, training recommendations, coaching and mentoringContribute to Dillon’s corporate profile through active participation in professional associations and committeesQualificationsWhat you will need to succeedA university degree or post-undergraduate college diploma in planning, environmental studies, biology, applied planning, ecology, or a related field3 to 8 years’ experience, preferably in the consulting industry, with an emphasis on linear infrastructure EAsValid Class G Driver’s licenseEligibility for full membership or candidate membership in the Ontario Professional Planners Institute is considered an assetExperienceIdeally, your experience can demonstrate the following:Successful delivery of Class EAs for linear infrastructure.
