You’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring accurate reporting and building a high-performing finance team to support the company’s continued growth.Base pay rangeCA$80,000.00/yr - CA$90,000.00/yrWhat You’ll Do:Lead and develop a small team of junior accounting staffOversee core accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts payable, and payrollPrepare and review weekly and monthly financial reports and forecastsPerform key account reconciliations and ensure accurate cost allocationsSupport the annual audit process with external partnersStrengthen internal controls to safeguard financial integrityIdentify and implement process improvements to support business growthPartner with cross-functional leaders to provide financial insights and ad-hoc analysisWhat You'll Bring:3+ years of progressive accounting experienceCPA designation an assetStrong technical knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principlesAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with general accounting softwareStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesCollaborative mindset and proven ability to lead and motivate a teamExperience in transportation, logistics, or related industries is an assetThis role offers the chance to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your work will have a direct impact on the company’s growth and operational success.
