About the Role

As the Key Account Manager at EHPlabs, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's success by developing and executing strategic account initiatives, managing HQ-level relationships, and driving store-level engagement that enhances brand visibility, drive sales, and foster strong partnerships with our retail partners. You will work collaboratively with Canada, US, and Australia based teams to ensure the alignment and execution of revenue building strategies and overall business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify new business opportunities and expansion possibilities within all retail channels. Distinguish opportunities to enhance brand presence including product placement, promotional activities, and in-store initiatives to drive sales.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers at national retail chains.
  • Negotiate with key retail accounts focused on targeting food, drug, mass, and specialty chains to secure favorable terms and agreements.
  • Understand retailers’ business needs, market trends, and challenges to tailor solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Conduct hands-on store-level engagement, including regular store visits, product demos, lead generation, and territory management.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for retail partners, addressing inquiries, concerns, and fostering a collaborative partnership.
  • Seek and actively participate in community and customer events that align with and enhance the overall territory business plan.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
  • Research and understand market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform business development strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop tailored sales campaigns and promotional materials for national retailers.
  • Work closely with the product team to align product offerings with retail partners' needs and preferences.
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and delivery to retail partners.
  • Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations to educate customers and consumers on our products
  • Maintain a consistent travel schedule to ensure effective face-to-face meetings, maintain, strong relationships, and represent the company at industry events
  • Ensure timely submission of administrative paperwork on behalf of customers and maintain records of all sales leads and customer accounts in CRM software
  • Work on special projects and other ad hoc duties/responsibilities as assigned.

About You

  • You bring 5-7+ years of sales experience in Sports Nutrition, Health and Wellness, and/or the CPG Industry.
  • You are comfortable and effective in both HQ-level relationship management and store-level engagement.
  • You develop and execute successful sales strategies, JPBs, promotional plans, and brand launches.
  • You understand the Specialty Sports Nutrition and Beverage CPG space.
  • You visualize how to add value and translate the vision into actionable goals.
  • You enhance operating results by ensuring alignment of resources, integrating various points of view, and setting expectations.
  • You maintain a growth mindset and always search for more opportunities.
  • You build compelling selling stories and translate data into actionable strategies.
  • You have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

$85-100k (DOE) base + 20% annual performance bonus
