With a strong, active and familial culture, Pub United is the agency’s social club, hosting events as wide reaching as Curling, Trivia Nights and more.Job DescriptionThe Producer supports the clients and ideals of their creative lead agency, all under the vision of their Head of Production. Directly reports to an SVP/Group EP or VP EP, depending on creative agency department needs & structure. The Producer is responsible for translating creative ideas into project plans and deliverables across their specific discipline(s) of expertise. In addition to fundamental producer skills (listed below), to be on the Production team requires solid critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as a passion for guiding creative ideas from brief through project launch. The ideal candidate for this position will have ambitions of work that pushes creative and technological limits and experience in delivering a variety of integrated projects completed on time, within budget and to the highest level of creative standards. Broadcast, Digital, and OLV content production.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for excellence in all day-to-day aspects of production including scoping and ballparking creative concepts, building detailed project schedules, managing project scope, researching and securing production resources, quality controlling all deliverables, maintaining project documentation and communication with holistic project teamsAble to work independently, sometimes on concurrent projects, ensure error free, on time and on budget productions all while meeting or exceeding creative objectives and expectationsRepresents a craft expertise but responsible for actively learning, developing and further growing skills through exposure to cross discipline productionsResponsible for ‘managing up’ to Executive Producer (possibly Senior Producer) and proactively seeking support/guidance when neededAble to research, identify, select and negotiate production vendor partnerships (internally and externally) based on both scope/budget/timeline of project and which partner is best suited to execute the creative vision.Responsible for supporting and participating in our efforts in cultivating a diverse, equal and inclusive culture of production within our workCommunicates proactively with Creative, Account Services, Business Affairs and Media partners on all aspects of the production including milestones, deliverables and due dates to keep the production process flowing smoothlyDemonstrates the ability to both knowledgeably use and explain talent verbiage to larger Agency teamResponsible for building critical relationships and maintaining the agency’s reputation and standard of excellence with the internal and external production industryStays on top of industry trends, craft-makers, techniques, directors, photographers, and new technologies and utilizes expertise and passion for production to inspire and educate the Department and Agency overall in an effort to elevate the lead creative agency’s creative productIntegrate AI-driven tools into creative and production processes to boost efficiency, elevate content quality, and stay ahead of emerging trends in technology and storytellingAPTITUDESApproaches each assignment with curiosity, open-mindedness and forward-thinkingWorks to pursue the best creative ideas and creates an environment supportive of the best creativePassionate about ideas, brands, the agency and our clients’ businessCollaborative team member that actively seeks out and tries to understand the opinions of others, listens wellDemonstrates a strong work ethic that is determined, tenacious and tireless, a bias for action and extraordinary dedication to resultsExquisite taste, strong point of view, fearlessA great partner, balance of supportive and challenging, and solution orientatedLOCATION & COMMITMENTSFull-time role, currently hybrid statusIn-person/in-office minimum of 3 days per week (111 Queen St. E)Travel may be required to deliver on client and production needsQualificationsExperience in production at an agency, production company or similar environment4+ years as Producer for Broadcast, digital, activationsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and work seamlessly across agency functions and with partner agenciesConsistently delivers projects and commitments on deadlineEffective negotiation and positive-minded problem-solving skills requiredAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environmentHighly organized with a keen sense of attention to detailPHYSICAL DEMANDSProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerAdditional InformationSalary Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications.
