Job Posting: Skills Training Facilitator Pathways Employment Help Centre (PEHC) exists to Unleash People's Potential through Employment, Skills Training and Advocacy. Pathways is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to fill the available role of Skills Training Facilitator. The Skills Training Facilitator will be responsible for all elements of skills training programs designed to give individuals the necessary hard and soft skills for employment. While this is a general facilitator role, experience in logistics and manufacturing is highly valued, along with hands‑on experience in construction, woodworking, or related technical environments. Qualifications You bring 7–10 years of industry experience, ideally within logistics and manufacturing, combined with practical experience in construction, woodworking, or similar hands‑on settings. You have current knowledge of industry processes, technology, safety standards, and workplace expectations. You may have experience or certification in Forklift, Elevated Work Platform, WHMIS, Working at Heights, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods, or a willingness to obtain certifications as required. Along with your technical skills, you have the ability to communicate clearly, inspire, and motivate people who bring a diverse set of circumstances and life situations to the task. You are comfortable coaching individuals who may be returning to the workforce or navigating employment barriers. What to Expect In this role you will have the opportunity to facilitate training sessions, improve and update curriculum, coach and mentor participants and participate in the meaningful work of assisting individuals who have been out of the workforce for sometime, to gain skills that will help them find employment. Regular office hours of 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday. Salary range of $50-62K, plus benefits. 3 weeks vacation to start plus generous professional development budget and paid staff training days.
