OverviewSenior Civil Engineer to support the continued expansion of the renewable energy team and help shape the future of sustainable infrastructure. Passion for engineering excellence and interest in cutting-edge energy projects across the UK, Ireland, Europe and beyond.What you’ll doSenior Civil Engineer role across a diverse portfolio of energy projects, including onshore and offshore wind, solar PV, hydroelectric (run-off river and pumped storage), grid infrastructure, hydrogen production and storage, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).Involved from feasibility through to detailed design and construction supervision, liaising with major energy utility providers and private developers.Liaise with clients, manage project work on a day-to-day basis and ensure delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams.Lead and manage the design of civil infrastructure including roads, drainage, civil structural infrastructure and external works.Conduct site inspections and respond to technical queries.Produce high-quality reports (feasibility studies, inspection reports, design documentation).Mentor and guide junior staff.QualificationsBEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering.Chartered status or actively working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers or other relevant Institution.This is a technical role requiring a high degree of competence in the design of civil or structural elements.Experience in consultancy in Renewables, Battery, Onshore Wind, Solar.Strong report writing and organisational skills.What we offerOpportunities to develop technical and project management skills with strong career progression.
