A valid Class 5 drivers license and First Aid/CPR/AED certification are required. Key qualifications include a high school diploma and/or education or experience in social sciences, corrections, or a related field. Candidates must be able to interpret legislation and policy, assess risk, and respond to incidents using safe and reasonable interventions. Responsibilities include supervising offenders, leading programming, developing reintegration plans, and working with individuals who may have experienced trauma or face complex needs.
