Compensation $40.10 per hour with full-time hours Health and Dental Benefits, Pension and Match RSP What you can expect from us Commitment to Safety – outstanding in-house safety record Modern and clean work environment Industry leading diagnostic technology and tools Comprehensive technical and professional training & development Responsibilities Applies knowledge of processes,equipmentand system capability to achieve challenging individual and facility standards Achieve performance standards with regards to safety, lineutilization, RE and quality Ensures compliance with all Health & Safety regulations Demonstrates computerproficiency Demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment Safely and productivelyoperateequipmentin accordance withestablished procedures Completion of PMs as directed Accurate part entry and PM closure via INFORa must Maintains equipment in a satisfactory condition for safe operation Activelyparticipatesin line improvement meetings and projects Ensure adherence and compliance with quality standards Performs any other tasks as directed by managers and supervisors Qualifications Must be a licensed industrial electrician Self-motivated, wellorganizedand able to multi-task Must have basic computer competency skills – basic programming considered an asset Ability to troubleshoot high speed packaging equipmentrequired Must be skilled to use power tools Mustpossessforklift and work at height training/ certifications – or be willing to obtain Mustpossesshigh numeracy skills, record keeping ability, mechanically inclined Mustdemonstratea high levelofproblem solvingskills, interpret process control data Mustdemonstrateability to perform LOTO procedure Must be able todemonstrategood knowledge of Food Safety Systems (GMP’s, CCP’s,oPRP’s) Demonstrate good attendance and a sense of urgency Willingto be involved in continuous improvement to improve the quality of the product.
