Compensation: $ per hour with full-time hours Health and Dental Benefits, Pension and Match RSPWhat you can expect from us: Commitment to Safety – outstanding in-house safety record Modern and clean work environment Industry leading diagnostic technology and tools Comprehensive technical and professional training & development ResponsibilitiesMaintenance of site equipmentCompletion of preventative and predictive maintenance inspections and electrical and/or mechanical repairs for all equipment within area of responsibilityExecute daily assigned workManage through emergency breakdownsSupport in root cause and prevention of future downtime eventsWork collaboratively with operators and other classifications across the site to reduce downtime, safety and quality risksEffective communication for shift crossovers, work order feedback, production meetings, and activity coordination between other shift membersAbove average troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues in a diverse, fast paced environment QualificationsMANDATORY REQUIREMENT: Must currently possess a valid Mechanical ticketMotivation and Positive AttitudeDrive for ImprovementCommunication / Computer SkillsKnowledge and Experience of operational process / packaging equipmentAbility to use machine shop equipment and weldKnowledge and experience using maintenance control systems for submitting work requests and logging hoursAbility to work shift work
