We’re looking for a Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to join our Professional Services team, who help our clients transform their business planning needs (budgeting, revenue, personnel, KPIs, quotas/capacity, territories, reporting & analytics) with the Adaptive Planning Business Planning Cloud. You will work as part of a delivery team responsible for implementations for customers of all sizes, across multiple industries.You Will Be Expected ToMaintain proficiency and certification in the Adaptive Planning solution suiteLead all phases of Adaptive Planning implementation projectsWork with clients to understand their current planning process, and take a consultative approach to move legacy models into Adaptive PlanningLeverage your expertise to recommend the best solution based on the client’s requirements, budget, and timeframe, with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identifiedGuide clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of each client’s unique business requirements at all stages of the projectDevelop and configure accurate forecasting and planning models in Adaptive Planning to meet clients’ business needsPlan and conduct training sessions for usersDocument the planning models and reporting delivered to clientsEnsure rapid time to value through delivering engagements on time and budgetCommunicate regularly, concisely, and clearly with clients to set proper expectations and ensure client successProvide general customer service and assistance to clients and serve as the go-to resource on all project related inquiriesCollaborate internally to share learnings and problems solvedExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or Business mandatory5+ years’ experience in accounting/financial management – particularly budgeting and planning and management reporting – preferred2 - 4 years' experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion) preferredAdvanced or expert proficiency in Excel, in particular designing and building complex financial planning modelsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAptitude for learning new technologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle a variety of different projects simultaneously and capable of managing multiple deadlinesOrganized, thorough, process-drivenPrevious consulting experience is idealEmbracing our differencesAt Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
