As Project Manager, you will lead all aspects of construction delivery, from pre-construction and planning through to project execution and closeout for projects focused on wastewater treatment, lift stations, and pump stations.About the PositionYou will oversee project setup, budgeting, scheduling, execution, and stakeholder communication. You will guide multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors and consultants to ensure quality, safety, and delivery on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is comfortable with both field and office responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the setup and execution of infrastructure projects with a focus on wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and related systemsOversee the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to final turnoverMaintain responsibility for project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and schedulesAct as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, site teams, and subcontractorsCoordinate internal and external resources to ensure smooth and timely executionOrganize project teams, delegate responsibilities, and drive performance to meet deliverablesConduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standardsMitigate project risks and resolve issues in a timely and effective mannerQualifications5+ years of experience in project management roles with a mid-size or large general contractorPost-secondary degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams across all phases of constructionProven experience managing technically complex infrastructure projectsProficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and project documentationFlexibility to travel to project sites as requiredSite Ready BC certification (or ability to obtain)Benefits & PerksCompetitive wagesEmployer-paid benefits program (health, dental, vision, EAP)RRSP matching programEducational assistance for relevant professional developmentAnnual salary reviews and employee recognition programLeadership development conferencesCompany-wide engagement initiativesAt Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
