Position: IT Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and oversee technology projects of varying complexity. The ideal candidate will successfully manage timelines, budgets, resources, and interest-holder expectations while ensuring all project outcomes align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage IT projects of various scales, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and interest-holders throughout all phases.
  • Translate business needs into project scope, deliverables, timelines, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative development.
  • Track project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans for successful execution.
  • Manage vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure deliverables meet organizational expectations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide regular status reporting.

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of PM methodologies: PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall.
  • Knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, cloud technologies, enterprise platforms, and SDLC.
  • Experience in interest-holder and change management principles to support smooth transitions.
  • Ability to conduct risk assessment and implement mitigation plans effectively.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MS Office Suite, MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Mural, and Visio.
  • Understanding of IT project budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2 preferred).
  • Proven experience leading IT projects end-to-end.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
