You’ll own core accounting activities while partnering closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams. If you like cost accounting, inventory, and improving how things work, this role will keep you engaged. You’ll report directly to the Director of Finance and play a key role in strengthening financial discipline as the business grows. What You’ll Be Responsible For Lead day‑to‑day accounting operations (AP, AR, general ledger) Support month‑end and year‑end close, ensuring accurate and timely financials Maintain and enhance standard costing models; analyze and explain variances Own inventory accounting: reconciliations, adjustments, cycle counts, and physical counts Partner with manufacturing and supply chain to understand cost drivers and operational impacts Spend time on the plant floor to understand inventory flows, production rates, and cost drivers Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and audit requirements Identify and implement process improvements, including ERP or workflow enhancements Prepare analysis and insights to support management decision‑making Mentor or supervise accounting staff (as applicable) Document procedures and help improve financial literacy across the organization What We’re Looking For 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience (manufacturing strongly preferred) Bachelor’s degree from a recognized postsecondary institution with an acceptable specialization in Accounting, Business, Commerce, or a related field Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and production workflows Strong Excel skills; experience working in an ERP environment (Epicor Kinetic, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar manufacturing ERP) Detail‑oriented, analytical, and comfortable in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting Able to explain financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders Skilled in preparing Journal Entries and managing Fixed Assets Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team Active pursuit of CPA considered an asset Salary: $75,000–$90,000 (commensurate with experience) Benefits after 3 months Tuition reimbursement for business‑aligned education How to Apply Send your resume to HRTeam@hfipyrotechnics.com #Edwardsburgh-Cardinal | #Manufacturing | #Financial Accounting | #Cost Accounting | #ERP | #Continuous Improvement #J-18808-Ljbffr
