Job Type: Full‑time (On‑site) Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + 10% bonus Role Summary The Associate Director of Operations & Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence and overseeing human resources strategy and execution across the organization. This position partners closely with executive leadership to translate business objectives into scalable operational systems and people practices. The role balances strategic oversight with execution, ensuring the organization’s infrastructure, workforce, and internal processes support sustainable growth, compliance, and a high‑performing workplace culture. The Associate Director acts as a trusted advisor to leadership, a people advocate for employees, and an operational leader who ensures alignment, efficiency, and accountability. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Strategy Lead and optimize company‑wide operational processes to support organizational goals and growth Design, implement, and refine scalable systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures Partner with executive leadership on operational planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking Identify risks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities; develop and execute mitigation plans Oversee vendor strategy, contracts, and service‑level performance Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost‑control initiatives related to operations Ensure operational readiness during periods of growth, change, or restructuring Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational values Partner with leadership on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent development Support leadership with succession planning and long‑term people initiatives Analyze workforce trends and recommend data‑driven improvements Talent Management & Employee Experience Oversee end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and off‑boarding Implement consistent performance management frameworks and feedback processes Support leadership in coaching, performance improvement, and corrective action when needed Champion employee engagement, retention, and culture‑building initiatives Employee Relations & Compliance Serve as senior point of escalation for employee relations issues Ensure compliance with employment laws, workplace regulations, and internal policies Maintain and evolve company policies, employee handbook, and HR documentation Oversee benefits administration, HR systems, audits, and reporting requirements Cross‑Functional Leadership & Communication Act as a bridge between leadership, managers, and employees to ensure transparency and alignment Provide regular reporting and insights on operational and workforce performance to executive leadership Lead change management initiatives related to operations, structure, or people programs Mentor and guide operational or HR team members as applicable Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field 6–10+ years of progressive experience in operations and human resources roles Demonstrated experience in a leadership or senior management capacity Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employee relations, and people operations best practices Proven ability to design and scale operational systems Exceptional communication, judgment, and decision‑making skills High level of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential matters Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or advanced training in HR, business, or organizational development HR certification (SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent) Experience in high‑growth, multi‑functional, or regulated environments Experience leading teams or managing managers Core Competencies Strategic operational leadership Change management and organizational design Risk management and compliance Relationship building and influence Ethical leadership and confidentiality Measures of Success Scalable and efficient operational systems that support growth Strong employee engagement, retention, and performance outcomes Consistent compliance with labor laws and internal policies Positive leadership feedback and cross‑functional alignment Successful execution of strategic initiatives Seniority level Director Employment type Full‑time Job function Management Industries Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
