It oversees core growth strategies from top of funnel, to onboarding, to helping Retailers get up and running to be successful on Faire. We build minimum viable products, deploy to production multiple times per day, A/B test customer-facing changes, listen to the data, and iterate.What you’ll do:Directly manage a large cross functional team of engineers developing our growth product solutions.Lead scoping and sprint planning within your teamsUnderstand, triage and assign defects to be solved along with feature workIdentify and scope infrastructure or tooling changes to impact efficiency and/or qualityDive into the architecture, designs and code in order to lead your team effectivelyLead contributor and owner of process and team structure decisionsDirectly impact our ability to grow quickly while improving operational efficienciesQualifications:A passion for programming and solving problems with codeA bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent industry experienceA strong technical background and you are still capable of using it every dayA love for technology, and an insatiable curiosity for new tools to tackle real problemsA track record of leading teams to higher levels of contribution.A track record of assisting team members to achieve higher levels of impact in their careers.Capable and willing to write software for a couple months as part of your onboardingStill willing and able to get your hands dirty with software design, code creation, tooling, etc.Bonus/Nice to haves:Strength and experience in running engineering teams using metricsExperience working with marketplaces and/or shipping problem spaceHave lead through other managersSalary range:Canada: the pay range for this role is $184,000 - $253,000 per year.This role will also be eligible for equity and benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location.
