Job Details Position Title: Statistician & Research Analyst Status: FT Admin Temp Contract Hours: 37.5 per week Faculty/Department: Institutional Research and Analysis Campus/Location: North Campus, 205 Humber College Blvd., Etobicoke, M9W 5L7, Ontario, Canada Salary: $84,958.00 Job Family: Planning Duration of Need: 12 months Deadline to Apply: Dec. 9, 2025 About The Role Under the direction of the Director, Institutional Research and Analysis, the Statistician and Research Analyst will independently perform advanced statistical modeling along with research and analytical functions in support of evidence‑based decision‑making. The incumbent will possess extensive expertise in relevant software, tools, and advanced modeling and analytical methodologies and techniques, with the ability to rapidly learn new technologies and data assets in support of short‑range and long‑range planning, decision‑making, and institutional data stewardship processes. This position requires solid verbal and written communication skills to translate complex findings for senior leadership, the ability to work collaboratively across the institution, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality. Qualifications and Requirements Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. Minimum three (3) years of related experience. Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R, and/or Python) for statistical analysis, data modeling, and advanced analytics. Advanced data visualization and analytics expertise using tools including MS Office Suite and Tableau. Experience designing data processes, flows, visualizations, and analyses. Ensuring confidentiality and appropriate use of institutional data. Previous post‑secondary institutional research experience (desired). Sound verbal and written communication and presentation skills. Ability to explain complex information to non‑technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work effectively and professionally independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity and confidentiality.
