Completion of a post-secondary college diploma or university degree in an engineering related discipline, and progressive experience in planning and scheduling and/or project management; or a combination of education, training and experience deemed to be equivalent.
Minimum five (5) years of experience as a full-time Project Risk Professional preferably in a civil infrastructure, construction project environment.
•Hands-on experience with reviewing technical documents (drawings, design basis, schedules and estimates) for the purpose of understanding the project scope and identifying risks.
•Demonstrates experience with leading and facilitating risk workshops.
•Hands-on experience with the data collection and qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to support making risk-informed decisions.
•Sound understanding of basic engineering and construction methodologies.
•Strong time management; ability to prioritize and balance competing demands in a deadline driven environment.
•Excellent written, verbal, non-verbal and visual communication skills.
•Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees.
Relevant Risk Management Professional Certificates from industry leader organizations such as PMI, AACE and etc.
